The Latest Shots!!

The Christmas Eve Blizzard of 2004!!
Well - we had quite the little blizzard on Christmas Eve 2004 - HA HA HA HA HA - WOW -- WHAT a SURPRISE!!

JUST WHO was it that said "...and it just don't snow in Houston..." anyway?

I'll make a nicer page for pics at some point (for now there's just a directory of pictures - you can click to see each) but send me your favorite pictures of the "Blizzard of 2004" and I'll post them for all to enjoy!!

I just love living in Pecan Grove!!

Andera Shots!!

The newest shots, contributed by Andera - a couple of really nice sunsets and one from the backyard looking west across the 9th green of the Pecan Course. -- Thanks Andrea!! -- 10/2003

<< Well - we woke to a real storm and downpour on Thursday, June 7th!! But, at least, we fared better than much of Houston and the surrounding areas - I mean - I haven't heard of any submerged 18-wheelers in the neighborhood!!

I ran out and got a quick shot of Bittersweet Creek once it had let up enough that I wasn't likely to be swept away by the flood waters :-) --- you can see one or two stragglers but I was too late to get a shot of the entire flotilla of newspapers on their way out to sea.

Christmas 2001

Sorry - but my camera just isn't very good for night shots - so this is about the best I can provide of Christmas Lights for 2001.

Anyway - HERE are some photos from the 2001 Christmas season.

Tony's Aerial Shots!!

The newest shots, contributed by Tony Trumps, are a couple of really nice aerial photos toward the front of the neighborhood - Thanks Tony! Bet we'd all enjoy a helicopter ride over the neighborhood -- 7/2000

The Oldies but Goodies

This Chuck Wagon seems just a bit too pretty. Probably the first time it's been on a trail ride --- but this one looks like it's been on a few. And these guys look about ready to spend the night in their own beds :-)) --- 2/7/97

Well, Old Santa came a bit early this year. All the snow melted, so he had to hitch a ride. BUt he still got some great views --- and I'm not the judge, but these folks get my vote for Christmas decorations. 12/8/96

Within walking distance, the Brazos gets mosly ignored. Downstream of where Jones Creek enters, looking north and south. 12/8/96

The old park on Farmer Road. Next to the park is a little creek. And, Belin Park just up the street, gets a bit more use. 12/8/96

Okay - Okay - I admit you have to use your imagination, but doesn't this tree look like a deer? 12/8/96
