After feeling like a terrible dog parent all night long, I went driving one street over and found Pinky sitting on someone else's front walk. I still don't know how he got loose, but I urge all of you to please check your gates to your fenced yards and secure any that you do not use and repair any that are broken. |

166) Cindy Rush Thu Oct 23 12:18:48 CDT 2008 | UPDATE!! Missy was returned to us on Friday 10/24 after being taken by a Pecan Grove residents son to his house in Katy for the week. It was a very long week for our family without her and we are just thankful that we got her back!!!

165) Jerry & Val Bryan valerie.bryan@sbcglobal.net Thu Oct 02 17:12:39 CDT 2008 | Update: We found Jude, thanks to Pecan Grove Plantation's great neighbors...a lady on Old South took him in, and someone she knows saw the flyer at the Shell station on Harlem and Plantation. And our neighbors on Rock Fence were so helpful. So he's back home with us and Zeke, and were they ever glad to see each other! The pack is back together.
Please make sure your pets have tags so when our neighbors find them we can make the return easier. We learned our lesson after a very tough day while he was missing. Thanks, too, to our friends at the Valero station at 359 and Plantation and the good folks at Integrity Auto and Tire on 90A who let us post a flyer. When I went to collect the flyers everyone was so happy we found our dog! It's a great blessing to live in such a loving community. |
